Loading the manual

StyluS Removal

and Replacement

Remove and replace the stylus as shown above. Always

hold the stylus by the plastic grip. Do not touch or dam-

age the diamond tip or cantilever. Do not force.

StyluS cleanInG

Use a soft brush with alcohol or an alcohol-distilled water

solution. Commercial cleaning solutions may cause

stylus damage. Brush only from back to front as shown

here, never front to back or side to side.

caRtRIdGe opeRatIon

1. Make certain cartridge is correctly mounted in tonearm and stylus is properly inserted in cartridge.

2. Protect stylus with stylus guard when dusting turntable.

3. Regulate tonearm set-down to prevent stylus from striking edge of turntable or record.

4. Do not handle tonearm while record is being played. Use cueing device if available.

5. If manual set-down is necessary, release arm as soon as stylus engages groove.

6. Do not activate arm without record(s) on turntable.

7. Do not use damaged records.

8. Follow turntable or tonearm instructions for antiskating force.

ing the warranty period, call 1-800-516-2525 in the United States for details on repair. Outside the United States, return the product to your

dealer or Authorized Service Center for repair. The product will be repaired, replaced, or exchanged and returned to you promptly.

This warranty does not cover stylus wear, abuse or misuse of the product, use contrary to Shure’s instruction, ordinary wear and tear, an

act of God or unauthorized repair.

Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not

apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
