USING THE VENTED
FUEL CAP
RYi2000 SERIES
OPENING AND CLOSING THE VENTED FUEL CAP
Your inverter has a fuel cap with a vent that can be opened and closed.

To open the vent, rotate the fuel cap lever to the
OPEN/RUN (I)
position. The
vent should be open during operation.
NOTE:
If the fuel cap lever is in the
CLOSED/STORAGE (O)
position, the unit
will not function properly.

To close the vent, rotate the fuel cap lever to the
CLOSED/STORAGE (O)
position. The vent should be closed when the generator is not in use.
