N 149 A Power Supply

Das Netzgerät N 149 A dient der Stromver-
sorgung eines Mikrophons M 147 Tube oder
M 149 Tube.

Das N 149 A ist ein Gerät mit Überstrom- und
Kurzschlußsicherheit. Das eingebaute Universal-
netzteil erfüllt die Bestimmungen nach UL 1950,
3101-1, 544, 2601, CSA 22.2#234, 125, 601,
1010.1, EN 41003, EN 60950 (IEC 950), IEC
601 und 1010. Die EMV-Prüfung erfolgte nach
EN 55011, EN 55022, VFG 243 Klasse B sowie
FCC Teil 15 Klasse B.

Für die Kaltgerätesteckdose nach IEC 320 liegt
eine Netzleitung bei.

Das Gerät ist für alle Netzspannungen zwischen
100 und 240 V geeignet, sowie für Netz-
frequenzen zwischen 50 und 60 Hz.

Die Betriebsbereitschaft des N 149 A wird
durch eine grüne LED signalisiert. Um die Ei-
genschaften bzgl. der elektrischen Sicherheit ge-
mäß den genannten Standards zu erhalten, liegt
der EIN-AUS-Schalter nicht in der Netz-
verbindung, sondern schaltet die Stromversor-
gung des Mikrophons. Um Netzspannungs-
freiheit zu erreichen, ist der Netzstecker zu
ziehen.

Unter dem Schalter und der Leuchte befinden
sich die 8-polige Anschlußdose für das Kabel
KT 8 zum Mikrophon, sowie der 3-polige XLR-
Stecker als Modulationsausgang. Die Beschal-
tungen dieser Steckverbinder ist die gleiche wie
bei den Netzgeräten N 149 und N 149 V.

The N 149 A power supply is designed to feed
one M 147 Tube or M 149 Tube microphone.
It features a built-in all-voltage DC-converter.

The N 149 A is protected against excess
currents and short circuits. The built-in supply
fulfills the requirements of UL 1950, 3101-1,
544, 2601, CSA 22.2#234, 125, 601, 1010.1,
EN 41003, EN 60950 (IEC 950), IEC 601 and
1010. It is EMC tested following EN 55011,
EN 55022, VFG 243 class B and FCC part 15
class B.

A power mains cable is included for the IEC
320 mains socket.

The N 149 A is suited for all voltages between
100 and 240 V, with line frequencies of 50 and
60 Hz.

A green LED signalizes operation of the N 149 A.
To preserve the features regarding electrical
safety according to the mentioned standards,
the ON-OFF switch does not lie in the mains
path but in the microphone supply circuitry. To
completely detach the N 149 A from the mains
lines please unplug the mains connection.

Below the switch and the lamp the cable
connectors are situated: 8-pin female DIN
connector for the KT 8 cable leading to the
microphone and the 3-pin male XLR providing
the audio signal output. Pin assignment is the
same as in the power supplies N 149 and
N 149 V.
