The NEC MultiSync LCD1980FXi’s bezel is even thinner than

its predecessors, measuring 12mm on its sides and 13.6mm on the top and bottom.

This design not only frees up more valuable desktop space, it allows for even more

seamless multi-monitor configurations. Another unique feature of the LCD1980FXi is

AmbiBright

TM

technology, which automatically adjusts the backlight depending on

the brightness of ambient lighting conditions, reducing eyestrain and providing

more comfor table viewing. For example, if the sensor detects the ambient lighting

becoming darker, it reduces the backlight appropriately. Fur ther, if ambient lighting

falls below a predetermined value, the monitor automatically enters a power-saving

mode, which can significantly reduce energy expenses when considering the

number of monitors used on trading floors.

offers an intuitive graphical user inter face that allows the user to adjust On Screen

professionals (available upon request) contains Windows Management
