for Downdraft Door Replacement kit
NOTE

Kit Contains:
1. Remove the old downdraft door assembly by opening the
door and prying off with a small screw driver. See
Figure 1.

Alcohol Wipes

2. Clean the new surfaces to be glued on the downdraft door
and the downdraft door support plate with the alcohol wipes
and a lint-free cloth in order to avoid any contamination of
grease, oil, dust, water, old adhesives/sealants. Let dry for
1 minute. See
Figure 2.
4. Apply silicone to the center of the downdraft door support
plate keeping it away from the sides edges as illustrated.

Tools Needed:
- Caulking Gun
- Small Screwdriver

5. Apply the downdraft door with the logo up and facing you
as illustrated applying slight pressure downward making
sure that the gaps are the same and the cover sits flush.

Figure 5.
IMPORTANT
: If the downdraft door does not sit flush remove and
apply more silicone to the low areas and repeat.
NOTE
: Allow unit to dry for 24 hours before use.

3. Insert the downdraft door support plate pins into the frame
of the door opening. See
Figure 3.
