for Water Softener Tank Kit
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death
or electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.

1.
Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.
2.
Pull the dishwasher away from the wall, being sure to cover
the floor with cardboard or hardboard to avoid floor damage.
3.
Insert the handles of a pair of pliers into the water inlet nut
and then turn counter clockwise to remove. See Figure 1.

Remove the nut to the water softener tank loosened in Step
4, and remove the tank from the dishwasher.

Remove the cap to the water softener tank and place the
2 ½ inch socket referenced in your dishwasher parts list over
the nut on the water softener tank. Hold the socket firmly in
place turn the socket counter clockwise to loosen the nut.
NOTE:
Do not remove the nut. See Figure 2.
5.
Lay the dishwasher on its back. Disconnect the wire from the
flow meter on the water softener tank. See Figure 3.
