WHEN REPAIRING THE FILTER TURN OFF THE
PUMP SUPPLY PRESSURE AND BLEED THE
MATERIAL PRESSURE FROM THE PUMPING
SYSTEM AND FILTER BOWL.
MAINTENANCE
Replace the Filter element when there is a 500-
pound pressure drop across it.
Note: Material must be flowing to check the
pressure drop.
REBUILDING INSTRUCTIONS
1) Close the ball valves and depressurize the
filter by opening the bleeder valve.
2) Unscrew the Filter Bowl and remove the
Element.
3) Clean the Filter Bowl and Housing.
4) Replace the O’ring and Back- up Ring and
lubricate.
5) Install new Element in the Filter Housing.
6) Thread on the Bowl and tighten to 50 Ft. Lbs.
