Taste and odor filter for extremely turbid water
Granular activated carbon reduces chlorine taste
and odor and other unwanted contaminants
Effectively reduces chloramines from water
Ideal as a prefilter for RO membranes which are
sensitive to chlorine
Install vertically with cartridge hanging down
Allow 2-1/2” clearance below the cartridge for
easy cartridge replacement
Flush cartridge by running water through filter
for five minutes at full flow
Follow with submicron precoat filtration
Change cartridges on a regular 6 month
preventative maintenance program
Change cartridges when capacity is reached or
when pressure falls below 10 psi
Always flush the filter cartridge at time of
installation and cartridge change
