The R12 offers long-term image quality and
consistency through EIZO's optional RadiCS
RX1 calibration kit. RadiCS RX1 features in-
clude acceptance testing, calibration to the DI-
COM Part 14 standard, detailed calibration
history reports, test pattern checks, and auto-
matic correction of brightness and gamma
changes. It also offers manufacturer-indepen-
dent asset management of PC, graphics
boards, and monitors.

This EIZO-developed software utilizes the
R12's dual 10-bit Look-Up Tables for adjust-
ment of tones to the desired values. Once val-
ues have been set, they can be saved to a con-
trol PC and shared with other RadiForce color
1MP and 2MP monitors.
D I C O M M O D E S
EIZO's front button operated Fine Contrast
function consists of six user-selectable modes,
each with different settings for contrast, bright-
ness, and gamma. It includes two DICOM
modes – DICOM-CL and DICOM-BL for
clear base and blue base film – as well as Cus-
tom, sRGB, Calibration, and Text modes.
