When using electrical products, especially when children are present, safety precautions 

must always be followed.

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO USE.

 – TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK;

•  ALWAYS UNPLUG THIS PRODUCT FROM THE ELELCTRICAL OUTLET BEFORE CLEANING.
•  DO NOT reach for any electrical device that has fallen into water. Unplug it from the outlet immediately, first.
•  DO NOT use while swimming, bathing or in the shower.
•  DO NOT place the device in an area where it could fall or be pulled into a bathtub or sink.
•  DO NOT drop or expose the device to water or other liquids.

with this device.

USE. Return the device to a service center for examination and repair.

•  DO NOT block or inhibit the proper ventilation of the device by using it under a blanket, pillow or other soft 

surfaces (Bed or Sofa). Overheating can occur and can cause personal injury, including fire or electric shock. 

•  ALWAYS keep the ventilation openings free of hair, lint, dust and other debris.
•  For Indoor Use Only. DO NOT use outdoors.
•  Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
•  Unplug unit and clean only with dry cloth. Stronger cleaning agents, such as Benzene, thinner or similar materials 

can damage the surface of the unit.

•  The mains plug of power adaptor is used as the disconnect device, it shall remain readily operable.
•  Damage Requiring Service – This product should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:

  -  Plug has been damaged.

  -  Objects have fallen into or liquid has been spilled into the enclosure.

  -  The unit has been exposed to rain. The unit has been dropped or the enclosure damaged.

  -  The unit exhibits a marked change in performance or does not operate normally.

•  Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of disposal. Many electronics retailers now recycle 

batteries and other electronic components at no charge. To find a drop-off location near you, visit

antenna and does not allow replacement.

What’s Included:

DC Adaptor

Getting Started

1.  Connect the included DC adaptor to the DC jack on the back of 

the unit. Plug the adapter into an outlet not controlled by a light  

switch. 

2. Download the Frameo app from the App Store or Google Play. 
3. Follow the in-app steps to connect your frame to Wi-Fi. 
4. When you turn on the frame for the first time, you will be   

   

prompted to customize your settings:

 a) Choose a language.
 b) Set up Wi-Fi connect.
 c) Set the appropriate time zone.
 d) Update your name and location.

Importing Photos

The easiest way to import photos is by using the Frameo app. In 

addition, you can import photos using either the micro USB port 

or the micro SD slot. (The frame is compatible with SD cards up to 

32GB.) 

Importing via micro USB 

1.  Connect a micro USB drive to the micro USB port on the frame.
2. Select the photos you would like to import.
3. Tap the Import Button      to start the process.

Note: 

The micro USB port just for 5V adaptor and U-disk uses.

 

 

Importing via micro SD card:

1.  Connect a micro SD card to the micro SD slot on the frame. 
2. Select the photos you would like to import.
3. Tap the Import Button to start the process. 

Backup frame to external storage (e.g. microSD card)

Tap to make a backup of your photos, friends and settings. The 

time of the latest successful backup is also displayed here.
 

Restore from backup

Before you attempt to restore your frame, start by confirming that 

your backup is up-to-date.

If you wish to restore a backup on a frame that has already been 

setup, then you must first reset the frame. This is done by pressing 

the “Reset frame” button. This will delete all data on the Frameo 

and reset the Frameo to its setup screen.

On the setup screen you can select the “Restore from backup” 

button which will restore your frame according to the backup. If 

the “Restore from backup” button isn’t visible, then confirm that 

the external storage (e.g. microSD card) is correctly mounted.

Using the Frameo App

If you want to be able to send photos to the frame yourself, start 

by downloading the app for 

iOS

 or 

Android

 on 

App Store

 or 

Google Play

. Then use the code to connect your frame and app as 

described below. You may also provide the code to your friends 

and family. 

Connecting a new friend

1.  Make sure that your friend has downloaded/installed the app.

2. Click the add friend icon     on your frame. A dialog will appear    

showing a connection code, which is valid for 12 hours.

3. Now share this code with your friend via SMS, e-mail, phone, 

etc.

4. Once your friend has added the code in their Frameo app, they   

will automatically appear on your frame and will be able to      

share photos.

Manage Photos

Use the Manage Photos menu to import, export, and delete 

photos.

Gallery

Use the Gallery to navigate through your photos and videos.

Slideshow

Use the Slideshow Menu to set a timer, set photo display order (by 

date or ‘shuffle’), enable photo captions, and adjust video 

settings.

Sleep Mode

Frameo offers a sleep mode which turns off the screen to reduce 

power consumption. The default setting is to turn off the screen at 

11:00pm and turn on the screen again at 7:00am. To adjust, set the 

sleep mode start/end time.

This equipment complies with IC RSS-102 radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment.

This device contains licence-exempt transmitter(s)/receiver(s) that comply with Innovation, Science and Economic 

Development Canada’s licence-exempt RSS(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

The device comply with ISED RF exposure requirement, users can obtain Canadian information on RF exposure and

Limited One Year Warranty

iHome Products, a division of SDI Technologies Inc. (hereafter referred to as SDI), warrants this product to be free from 

defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of one (1) year from the date of 

original purchase. Should this product fail to function in a satisfactory manner, it is best to first return it to the store where 

it was originally purchased. Should this fail to resolve the matter and service still be required by reason of any defect or 

malfunction during the warranty period, SDI will repair or, at its discretion, replace this product without charge. This 

decision is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction upon delivery of this product to the Factory Service Center 

authorized by Customer Service.

If service is required, please call contact Customer Service at ihome.com/support/contact to obtain a Return Authorization 

Number and shipping instructions. A copy of the sales receipt is required to validate in-warranty coverage. If proof of 

purchase cannot be produced, the product will be deemed out-of-warranty. The date of purchase, vendor, product model 

number, and purchase price must be legible and verifiable.

Disclaimer of Warranty

NOTE: This warranty is valid only if the product is used for the purpose for which it was designed. It does not cover (i) 

products which have been damaged by negligence or willful actions, misuse or accident, or which have been modified 

or repaired by unauthorized persons; (ii) cracked or broken cabinets, or units damaged by excessive heat; (iii) damage 

to digital media players, CD’s or tape cassettes (if applicable); (iv) the cost of shipping this product to the Factory

Service Center and its return to the owner.

This warranty is valid only in the United States of America and does not extend to owners of the product other than to 

the original purchaser. In no event will SDI or any of its affilliates, contractors, resellers, their o  cers, directors, shareholders, 

members or agents be liable to you or any third party for any consequential or incidental damages, any lost profits, 

actual, exemplary or punitive damages. (Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of 

consequential damages, so these restrictions may not apply to you.) This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and 

you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Your acknowledgment and agreement to fully and 

completely abide by the above mentioned disclaimer of warranty is contractually binding to you upon your transfer of 

currency (money order, cashier's check, or credit card) for purchase of your SDI product.

•  Tap the Display on the frame to Turn On the Main Menu.

•  Tap the Settings Icon on the frame to the Settings Menu , to set 

up Wi-Fi , Display & photo manage etc.

•  Tap the Power Button on the frame to access the Power Menu.

•  Tap the Power Icon on the Power Menu to turn the frame OFF.

•  Tap the Restart Icon on the Power Menu to restart the frame. 

•  Tap the Moon Icon on the Power Menu to enter Sleep Mode.
