Delta DVPAEXT01-H - Manual

Warning

Read this instruction sheet carefully before using DVPAEXT01-H.

DVPAEXT01-H is an OPEN TYPE device and therefore should be installed in an enclosure free of airborne dust,

humidity, electric shock and vibration. The enclosure should prevent non-maintenance staff from operating the
device (e.g. key or specific tools are required to open the enclosure) in case danger and damage on the device may
occur.

DVPAEXT01-H (including DVPAEXT1L-H and DVPAEXT1R-H) is used for connecting MPU and extension unit or

among extension units. Use DVPACAB4A09/DVPACAB4A18 to extend the transmission distance between
DVPAEXT1L-H and DVPAEXT1R-H.

Make sure the power of the MPU and extension unit is switched off when wiring and power on MPU and the
extension unit after the installation of DVPAEXT01-H is completed.

Introduction

Thank you for choosing Delta's DVP series accessory. DVPAEXT01-H is a connector for the extension cable

of extension units. The maximum extension distance available is 1.8m. DVPAEXT01-H is only applicable for

the connection between DVP-EH/EH2/PM series MPU and DI/DO, AI/AO extension units and does not

occupy any extension point or module space.

Installation and Wiring

Connect DVPAEXT01-H with modules

Using DVPAEXT01-H to connect DVP-EH/EH2/PM series MPU with DI/DI, AI/AO extension units.

Cable Connection

When installing DVPAEXT1L-H and DVPAEXT1R-H, please use DVPACAB4A09/DVPACAB4A18
connection cable.
