introduces CXM2000, a device used to
ensure that every customer leaves the
theater with a smile (or a tear if it is a
French movie).

CXM2000 is a Cinema Moni-
tor and Crossover System. With the
CXM2000, audiences can enjoy won-
derful sound from JBL cinema speak-
ers. It also allows for either processor
input signal or amplifier output signal
monitoring, which immediately indi-
cates when a signal path has a problem.
All necessary controls for daily opera-
tion of the CXM2000 are easily acces-
sible on the front panel. This device will
significantly improve the speaker audio
performance and offer peace of mind in
the operation of a theater system.

Front Panel
• Built-in speaker monitors the processor input
and amplifiers output

• Onboard JBL cinema speaker parameters
include crossover, EQ filters, delay, and more

Internal Speaker:
Plays back the audio, triggered
by the activated Channel Button.
CP (Cinema Processor) Button:
Switches the
monitor signals from processor or amplifier.
• Dim green: monitor the audio output from
amplifier.
• Bright green: monitor the audio input from
cinema processor.
7.1 Button:
Switches according to the audio source
format.
• Dim green: for 5.1 channel format of audio
source in 7.1 channel installation system.
• Bright green: for 7.1 channel format of audio
source in 7.1 channel installation system.
• No light: for 5.1 or 7.1 channel format of audio
source in 5.1 channel installation system.
- 5.1 channel installation system includes left,
right, center, left surround and right surround
channel speakers, and low frequency effect
channel.
- 7.1 channel installation system includes left,
right, center, left surround, right surround, back
surround left and back surround right channel
speakers, and low frequency effect channel.
Volume Indicators:
Indicates current volume level.
The higher numbers of indicator light up represent the
higher volume level of the built-in monitor speaker.
Volume Control Knob:
Adjusts the monitor volume
of CXM2000 internal speaker.
Channel Buttons:
Select to monitor each available
channel of the installation system.
L: Left Channel
R: Right Channel
C: Center Channel
Ls: Left Surround Channel
Rs: Right Surround Channel
Bsl: Back Surround Left Channel
Bsr: Back Surround Right Channel
SW1/SW2: Low Frequency Effect Channel
• Dim green: the
channel is available for monitor-
ing

• Bright green: the channel is being monitored
through the internal speaker of the CXM2000.
• Solid red: the channel has fault.
• Solid orange: the channel has fault and is being
monitored.
• No light: the channel is not connected into the
installation system.
Power Switch
On/Off switch applies AC power to the CXM2000.
