he Crown
®
CM-SM is a mic-stand
adapter that isolates a CM-700
microphone from mechanical vibra-
tion. It will also work with other 3/4-inch
diameter mics that are similar to the
CM-700 in weight and size.
Because of its elastic suspension, the
shock mount reduces stand and fl oor
thumps by at least 22 dB (A weighted).
For even more shock isolation, switch in
the low-cut fi lter on the CM-700.
A thumbwheel on the shock mount lets
you clamp the mic cable. This keeps the
mic oriented correctly and prevents cable
noise from reaching the mic. The 5/8" -
27 thread mates with standard American
mic stands and booms.
Net weight:
4.3 ounces (122.5 grams).
Included accessories:
8 replacement
rubber bands, part no. 100515-1.
Threaded adapter for European mic
stands (3/8" - 16) and photographic
stands (1/4" -20). These two threads are
on opposite ends of the unique reversible
adapter, part no. D 7092-6.
