INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
FOR INSTALLING A SCOTSMAN CM1000 SERIES ICE
MAKER ON REMCOR MODEL DB275 SERIES ICE
DISPENSER
Note: If dispenser has a flat stainless steel cover installed, it should be removed and discarded. Use
following instructions to assemble new cover and icemaker. Use page 2 for references.
1. Seal cover to dispenser as follows:
A. Unpack new cover assembly and run a bead of RTV on the cover bottom flanges to mate with dis-
penser hopper.
B. Set cover onto dispenser hopper.
C. Wipe excess RTV away immediately.
D. Cover must be sealed completely to dispenser hopper.
2. Seal icemaker to dispenser cover.
A. Apply a bead of RTV on the dispenser cover around the outline of the icemaker frame sides and rear.
B. Set icemaker onto cover.
C. Wipe excess RTV away immediately.
3. Secure icemaker to dispenser with mounting brackets provided as shown on page 2. Drill holes and install
sheet metal screws provided into icemaker cabinet. Drilling must not interfere with icemaker components.
4. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to complete the installation of the icemaker.
