Cooling System Removal & Installation - EuroVan, 2.4L Diesel (AAB & ACV Engine Codes)

ENGINE IDENTIFICATION

The VIN number ("Code letters" and "Serial number") can be found next to injection pump on left side of
cylinder block. See

Fig. 1

. Additionally there is a sticker on the upper toothed belt guard with "Engine

code" and "Serial number". The engine code is also included on the vehicle data plate. See

Fig. 2

The engine number consists of up to nine characters (alphanumeric). The first part (maximal 3 characters)

NOTE:

On some models, vehicle data plate may be attached to trim cover under
lower left side of instrument panel.
