Overview
The AlertWerks Temperature Sensors are semiconductor
microprocessors that record accurate temperature data. They
are compatible with all AlertWerks hubs. You can plug in up to
two temperature sensors on the EME102A and up to eight
temperature sensors on the EME108A. You can connect up to
eight sensors on the EME134A and eight more on each
expansion module (EME1X8).
All temperature sensors come with an RJ-45 male connector.
You can easily plug them into the RJ-45 jacks on the hub.
Specially designed CAT5 cable ensures a correct reading up to
100 feet, enabling you to position the sensors in hot spots. You
can extend the temperature sensors beyond their standard
length, up to 1000 feet (304.8 m).
The hub autodetects the presence of the temperature sensor
when it’s plugged into the RJ-45 port. Use the hubs’ built-in
graph option to graph temperature variations over a period of
time.
