STEP 1:
BEFORE DRYWALL INSTALLATION:
Locate the area where the speaker will be
placed in the ceiling joists keeping in
mind that the speaker when installed will
take up the full ceiling cavity within the
bracket location (i.e.: free from electrical
wires, water pipes, etc.). Position the
bracket and attach with screws through
the mesh and into the center of the joist.
Make sure you can access your speaker
wire through the hole you will cut in the
drywall.
STEP 2:
CUTTING THE HOLE
Now you or your drywall installers can lay
the drywall.
Once the drywall is up you can go ahead
and cut your hole with a knife/saw slowly
trying not to chip out the material
excessively.
STEP 3:
CONNECT AND ASSEMBLE
Attach your speaker wires to the
speaker binding posts. Remember the
red is positive and black is negative.
Now mount your speaker in the ceiling
and attach your grill. All AudioSource
speakers come with complete installa-
tion instructions.

The new Construction Bracket is a pre-construction tool.
It has thin metal wings that are easy to mount to any
framing situation with virtually no rise in drywall depth.
This will reduce the amount of time needed to cut
holes in drywalls and inlocating speaker cabling.
