APPLICATION
Install model T620-8 deluxe baffle in areas where premium appearance and
hardware-free design are specified requirements for 8" (203mm) loudspeaker
baffles. Quality construction with beveled frame, small mesh grille, and no
visible hardware make them suitable for hotels, law offices, high-end retail
and professional spaces of all kinds.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Model T620-8 is a two-piece square baffle for mounting a standard 8" (203mm)
loudspeaker. Loudspeaker installs to welded studs on the baffles subplate. The
subplate includes a "no-leak" gasket to prevent bass leak. Construction is 20-
gauge CRS with a welded CRS grille. The assembly is finished in textured white
epoxy and installs using a torsion-spring device for attractive hardware-free
appearance.
ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER SPECIFICATIONS
The metal baffle shall be Atlas Sound Model T620-8 or approved equal. It shall
be of two-piece CRS construction with a separate subplate with welded studs to
mount a standard 8" (203mm) loudspeaker. It shall also include a gasket to pre-
vent bass leak. Baffle shall use torsion springs for mounting to protective enclo-
sure Model _________ (EZ198-8, T198-8, T198-8-5, or SE175-4) or mounting
ring Model ________ (T72-8, T72-8E1, T72-8E2 or approved equal. Finish shall
be textured white epoxy.
Note: For proper suppor t, torsion spring grilles should not be used with
loudspeaker assemblies exceeding 5 lbs.
