APPLICATIONS
Utilize Atlas Sound multi-purpose square baffle Models 63-8 and 169-8
for a variety of recessed ceiling and wall-mount installations. Units have
an attractive, clean design ideal for most building interiors. Model 63-8
provides concealed loudspeaker mounting studs for an even more architecturally
pleasing appearance.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Model 63-8. Attractive square baffle features a beveled-edge, round protective
screen, and concealed loudspeaker mounting studs. It is designed for use with
standard 8" (203mm) loudspeakers and is of two-piece CRS construction
(20-gauge trim, 22-gauge perforated grille). Finished in textured white epoxy.
Model 169-8. Cost-efficient, beveled-edge square baffle features a round perforated
grille and standard screw-mount speaker and enclosure installation. Unit mounts
standard 8" (203mm) loudspeakers and is constructed of one-piece 24-gauge CRS.
Finished in textured white epoxy.
ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER SPECIFICATIONS
Square metal baffle shall be Atlas Sound Model _____ (63-8 or 169-8).
It shall be constructed of (two-piece, one-piece) heavy-gauge CRS with a
round loudspeaker cutout and perforated grille. Dimensions shall be
______________. Hardware for mounting Atlas Sound loudspeaker Model
______ shall be furnished. Baffle shall be used in conjunction with Atlas
Sound enclosure Model _____ or mounting ring Model ______. For appli-
cations which require a tile bridge, Atlas Sound Model _____ shall be used.
Finish shall be textured white epoxy.
