AT-TN131-A 48 Port ADSL2+ Annex A Module
Allied Telesis’ iMAP family of integrated
Multiser vice Access Platforms
Uncompromising ADSL
Performance for Demanding
Applications
The newest ADSL ser vice module in the iMAP
family is the AT-TN-131. It augments the
current product line by providing breakthrough
technology that offers industr y leading
performance in a smaller footprint and with less
power. The AT-TN-131 has been designed to
meet the most demanding triple play
applications. The card’s higher por t count will
help to reduce costs while maintaining the
feature richness of the other cards in the family.
Fur thermore, at the hear t of the card is a high
performance Network Processor that is
designed for the most demanding traffic
applications; multi-cast video, video on demand,
voice, and data.
The 48 subscriber por ts can concurrently
suppor t any of the standard ADSL modes;
ADSL2+, G.DMT, S=1/2, or T1.413. A powerful
DSP implements all ADSL algorithms including
Annex M, Annex L, Data boost and allows
future and emerging ADSL2+ features to be
added through simple software upgrades.
In ADSL2+ mode, a subscriber por t can deliver
up to 26Mbps of downstream bandwidth;
enough to suppor t up to 5 set top boxes of
standard digital video, plus headroom for voice
and data traffic. Traffic priority can be
differentiated by ser vice type so that voice,
video, and data can be ser ved to multiple users
on a single por t.
To enhance management, a complete set of
counters monitors ADSL performance at each
end of the link. Ever y performance monitor
counter can be assigned a threshold that will
generate an alarm if the threshold is exceeded.
Part of a total end-to-end solution
that delivers the highest quality and
performance In the industry
Allied Telesis is the only broadband access
