BESCHLIESST :

Der vorliegende Beschluß des Verwaltungsrats der Eu-

ropäischen Patentorganisation bestätigt die in Amtsblatt
1/1978 (Seite 31) erschienene Mitteilung über die Einrei-
chung und die Beschränkung der Behandlung europä-
ischer Patentanmeldungen. Die Gebiete der Technik in
dieser Mitteilung und im Anhang zu dem Beschluß des

Verwaltungsrats sind identisch.

Zur Bestimmung des Gebiets der Technik sind die Klassi-
fikationssymbole zu

berücksichtigen.

durch die die Er-

findung klassifiziert worden ist. Ist eine Erfindung durch
mehrere Klassifikationssymbole klassifiziert und fallen
nicht alle Symbole unter die Gebiete der Technik, die im
Anhang des Beschlusses des Verwaltungsrats erwähnt
sind, so wird die die Erfindung betreffende Anmeldung
ohne Beschränkung behandelt.

HAVING REGARD TO the

European Patent

Convention,

and in

particular Article 162,

paragraph

2

thereof,

HAVING REGARD TO the proposal of the

President of the European Patent

Office,

HAVING REGARD TO the written proce-
dure initiated pursuant to Article 7 of the

Rules of

Procedure

of the

Administrative

Council

on the basis of the letter dated 17

November 1977 to

Council

members and of

document CA/2/77 annexed to that

letter,

HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

This Decision of the Administrative Council of the

European Patent Organisation confirms the announce-
ment

published in Official Journal No 1/1978 (page 31)

concerning the filing and restrictions on the processing
of European patent applications. The fields of technology
listed in that announcement and annexed to this decision
are identical.
The

classification

symbols to be taken into

consideration

in determining the technical field will be restricted to

those classifying the invention.
If an invention is classified with more than one classifica-
tion symbol and not all of these symbols are

included in

the areas of technology mentioned in the Annex to the
decision of the Administrative Council then the applica-
tion having as its subject this invention will be processed

without restriction.

La présente décision du Conseil d´administration de

l´Organisation européenne des brevets confirme la com-
munication parue

dans le n°

1/1978 du

Journal officiel

(page 31). et relative au dépôt de demandes de brevet

européen et à la limitation de leur instruction. Les domai-

nes de la technique indiqués dans cette communication

et dans l´annexe à la decision du Conseil d´administration
sont identiques.
Pour déterminer le domaine technique sont pris en con-
sidération les symboles de classement utilisés pour le
classement de l´invention. Si une invention est classée
selon plusieurs symboles de classification et si tous ces
symboles ne font pas partie des domaines techniques
énumérés à l´annexe de la décision du Conseil d´admini-
stration, la demande concernant cette invention est ins-
truite sans restriction.
